[as dictated to Tanya]
I love a good catnap. In the sun. By a window. In the hamper. Under the bed. On the couch. In the closet.
I especially love catnaps in the sun. Those are the very, very best. I get all toasty warm as the sun bakes into my silky soft fur.
I do not like being bothered during a catnap. But it happens. Often.
Someone, I will not mention names (mommy) thinks it is particularly funny to pester me while I am sleeping. It is not funny. It is mean. I do not know why she does this. I do not bother her when she is catnapping.
No matter what she tells you, I do not bother her. I am a good kitty. Mommy likes to tell tall tails.
I have a tail. It is nice and fluffy. Mommy brushes it sometimes to make-up for waking me up from a catnap. If she brushes me nicely and for a long time, I forgive her for bothering me.
If you have a cat and you come across it while he or she is enjoying a catnap—ignore them. Tip toe around them but whatever you do—do not wake him or her up. Unless you have a treat. It may be acceptable if you have lots and lots of treats.
