Emeril’s favorite spot at my parent’s was under the tree, and he made a fabulous present (not that I would ever give him away!). In his opinion, a blanket (or a tree skirt) is an invitation to nap. And he did indeed nap there frequently. Of course, we did have quite the adventure getting home and back, so I’d need a few catnaps to rejuvenate myself too.
Reeses—my nephews and niece’s cat—looked rather handsome in the Santa hat too. Of course, not as handsome as Emeril did. Emeril was a bit perturbed that I didn’t leave the Santa hat with Reeses.
Emeril and I had a great Christmas and hope you did too. We’ll be back tomorrow with a brand new post for 2012.
