    • Bacon is just universally loved, unless you are a pig or vegetarian, I guess! 🙂 I bet your son with love this too. Smoky, salty bacon goes so good with the corn.

    • I have to confess that I am a huge garlic fan, but I definitely don’t think the recipe will suffer any affect without garlic. Let me know how you like it.

  1. You are so right – bacon does make everything better! It might even make sour cream better, which is something I often avoid. My kids love corn and bacon, so I think they would love it! My one son loves bacon so much, he contemplated a bacon costume for Halloween!

    • I won’t lie – you can definitely taste the sour cream, which I know for some people will be an issue. Since I’m a sour cream fan – I loved it, but it might be too much for you, although your kids might love it! A bacon costume – I love it, but everybody would have waited a piece of him! 🙂

    • Thanks, Sicorra! It is a winning combo in my book! Strangely enough when I was kid, I wasn’t a huge fan of bacon but I now adore it. 🙂 I don’t know what was wrong with me back then!

  2. You must have some sweet dreams to come up with these great recipes!

Another one I need to try 🙂 Thank you for sharing this with us!

Happy Friday…have a great weekend too!

    • It is a lot of making all these recipes, although it’s not always the kindest to my waistline!! I hope you try it and love it like I did! You have a great weekend too!

  3. Hi Tanya,

This sounds like a great dinner dish. I am always getting bored with the same old dishes. I love to cook casseroles and I think this would go over well at my house.

    Irish at Dedicated 2 Life

    • Thanks, Irish! I get bored with the same old, same old. Although now that I’m a food blogger, I didn’t repeat many dishes. 🙂 I always know when one is a keeper when it shows up on regular rotation!

    • Thanks, Maggie! It’s a winner in my book. 🙂 I think it would definitely be a welcome addition to any potluck!

  4. I only got to season 3 of Breaking Bad and lost interest…I know…I know.

That being said, I doubt I would lose interest in this recipe and thanks for taking the time to post it. It really does look delish!

Take care and all the best.

    Lyle

    • I remember there were some definite slow spots in the first couple of seasons. Season 3 was, in my opinion, when it really started to get good. LOL! This dish definitely kept my interest and my belly full! Thanks for stopping by, Lyle. I appreciate it!! 🙂
