It’s officially November, which means for many of us it’s time to start planning our Thanksgiving menu. I love Thanksgiving because we give thanks by eating. We don’t have to buy gifts or put on a costume. We just eat. 🙂 As a foodie, I take eating very seriously and carefully plot out what makes my plate and what doesn’t.
Most people seem to gravitate towards desserts. Admittedly, I enjoy sweets but I’m more of a savory girl when given a choice. But I know lots of people who peruse the dessert options before filling their plate, so they leave plenty of room for pie, cake and bars. While I’m not that girl, I do have the perfect dessert for you to make this Thanksgiving or really whenever you need an easy dessert. My Snickers Ice Cream Pie with Caramel Sauce is almost embarrassingly easy to make and tastes fantastic. You can get the recipe and my tips on how to keep your costs down this Thanksgiving over at Tackling Our Debt.
OK, Tanya. This recipe includes one of my favorite candy bars plus my favorite syrup! You got me hook line and sinker! Thanks for sharing!
Snickers are my favorite candy bars too, Maggie. Any recipe using them definitely gets my attention. This recipe is definitely a keeper and is so super easy to make!
I definitely had to stop by this post Tonya because this has one of my favorite candies too, Snickers. My mother loves Snickers too as well as ice cream. I’m trying to come up with something different for Thanksgiving dessert this year that’s easy to make so this one is sounding really good right now.
Thank you so much for sharing it and I’m going to go grab the recipe right now.

Thanks, Adrienne. This dessert is super simple and can’t be beat if you love Snickers and ice cream.! I also think it’s fun to serve something nontraditional at Thanksgiving too. And who wouldn’t a slice of ice cream pie? 🙂
