Hi ya, everyone! Thank you so much for supporting my efforts to become my own Cat Boss. It’s been one week since I launched Max’s Pet Sitting Service. Unfortunately, nobody has any birdies or hamsters for me to eat … I mean watch. This is confusing to me because Mama told me everyone tweeted their support. MaxE thinks you must be teasing him and are hiding your pet birdie, Twitter.
Twitter is a great name for a pet birdie. If Mama ever lets me get my own pet birdie (I ask for one every day), I am going to name him Yum Yum. Anyway, don’t forget if you go on vacation and need a pet sitter for Twitter, MaxE will take excellent care of him.
Mama keeps insisting Twitter is not an actual birdie and that you don’t have a pet birdie for me to pet sit, but I saw a picture of Twitter and he was a blue birdie. He looked awfully tasty. I mean sweet. Besides, I can’t always trust Mama’s eyesight. She calls me a snuggle bunny and goose. Obviously I am cat, so she needs to go back to kindergarten and relearn her animals.
Anyway, Mama told me that it takes time to launch a super successful business and that I have a niche business. I didn’t understand what “niche” meant. I assumed super awesome but Mama said no. Apparently only accepting pet birdies and hamsters means I have a narrow niche, which is very confusing to me. I see birdies all the time. They sit outside my window and tease me!! It really hurts my feelings; I am a sensitive feline.
I contemplated investing more money into my business and asked Mama for her opinion. She said she would either invest another $1 in my business or in a bag of treats for me. I wisely made the smart choice and chose the bag of treats. I know my priorities!
Well, I’m tired now and it’s time for my second mid-morning nap and after that I am going to brainstorm how to drum up more business. If you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments. And please remember when you need a reliable, friendly pet sitter for your pet birdie (Twitter, I know he exists!) or hamster, then please consider MaxE. Thank you!
