I know. I know. It’s Max Monday and I’m Tanya. I begged Max to let me post today and after some intense negotiation, he agreed. But don’t worry about Max. He drove a hard bargain. Belly rubs, extra treats and a solemn promise that he did not have to wear bunny ears on Easter. 🙂 I might have crossed my fingers on the last one. We’ll see!
I love seeing all the cute Easter dresses in the stores right now. Growing up, I always looked forward to wearing my new Easter dress. And it’s also entirely possible that I used to wake up early Easter morning to find out where all the Easter eggs were hidden. I’m sure everyone knew I did this but didn’t care because I was more interested in finding the candy, than eating the candy. 🙂
Anyway, with Easter this weekend I wanted to share some delicious appetizers and desserts that would be a huge hit with your family. And I would definitely budge in line to get my fair share of these delectable dishes.
Easter Appetizers
These dishes would be perfect for snacking on before or after the big meal.
Garlic Deviled Eggs
Orange Creamsicle Dip
Smoked Salmon Dip
Easter Desserts
Let’s not kid ourselves, everyone looks forward to the desserts the most. This will make everyone happy. 🙂
Cadbury Mini-Egg Blondies
Fruit Pizza
Special K Bars
Happy Easter, everyone!
You come up with some excellent recipes Tanya! Everything looks so good!!
I definitely have to try the Orange Creamsicle Dip. That was my favorite ice cream bar as a kid.
And I have plans to make a similar chocolate bar this week, but with Rice Krispies instead of Special K.
Thanks, Sicorra! The orange creamsicle dip was soooooo good. I really loved with the grapes. It was the perfect combination. The Special K bars are one of my favorites. It’s my Mom’s recipe and I just adore those babies. You’ll have to let me know how you bars turn out. They sound delicious – you really can’t go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter. 🙂 Have a great week!
OMG the smoked salmon dip looks so good! Well, all of them do! I haven’t tried to make deviled eggs yet, but I love them so much and the garlic addition sounds like such a nice touch! Thanks for putting this together, Tanya!
The smoked salmon dip was excellent, Anna. I made it when my brother was visiting and we couldn’t stop eating it! Deviled eggs are one of my all-time favorites, and the little hint of garlic makes them soooooooooo good. They are definitely going on my Easter menu this year.
