Just a quick note before I turn it over to MaxE, but I’m reviewing Madam Secretary over at TV Fanatic and my review of the pilot episode is now live. Go check it out and find out whether Madam Secretary is a keeper.
Hi ya, everyone! I’m super duper excited about today’s topic: toys! And not any old toys, but kitty toys. We kitties are clearly superior animals and need lots of active play time, unlike doggies. I’m not lying. Paw swear. Doggies are pets; kitties are #bossy. We need toys; doggies are the toys!
Mama says that I’m being mean and that doggies are nice. Whatever. I stand by my meows. Cats rule and dogs drool!
Now Mama says that I also drool, which is a dirty lie. I would never do something so dog-like. No way! Mama is teasing me because she thinks it is fun. But do you know what I think is fun? Toys! Cats require active play time every day with their human pet. Otherwise, we get bored and have no choice but to get into mischief.
5 Toys That Your Cat Will Love! Paw Swear!
I have lots of toys. Lots and lots of toys, so I am definitely a cat toy expert. These are the toys that I endorse and know your kitty will love too, unless they don’t. We are felines after all. We hate to be predictable!
#5: Bouncy Balls to Bat Around and Around
Bouncy balls are the best. I love chasing them around the apartment. A word of warning: the dastardly sofa likes to capture them and hold them hostage!
#4: Stuffed Mice to Pounce On
Mama gave me a new packet of mice to pounce on for my birthday this month and I love them. I get real low to the ground, wiggle my tushy and POUNCE! I like to carry them around and chew on them.
#3: Feathers Wands or Brushes to Attack
All cats love feathers. We do. Mama always buys me a variety of toys with feathers. Some are wands with a bunch of feathers at the end, which she uses to attack me while I’m snoozing in my cat tower. So. Much. Fun. I win every single time because I am that good!
#2: Laser Mouse To Chase After
Oh man. My laser mouse is the best. Mama only plays with it at night when the little light shines so brightly and I race around the apartment trying to catch that little red dot. It’s so sneaky! And Mama says it’s great cardio exercise too. I definitely earn my cat treats after a game of laser mouse.
#1: Da Bird to Tackle
This was the first toy Mama introduced me to when I first adopted her. She wanted to snuggle, snuggle and snuggle and after she was all snuggled out, she picked up the da bird and started twirling it around overheard. OMG! It was so AWESOME! Not quite as good as a real birdie, but super duper close. Mama doesn’t play with the da bird a lot, so it’s a real special treat when she does. (I did chew up the birdie pretty good too!)
What toys do your kitties love? I’m always on the lookout for new toys to recommend to Mama! Let me know what toys I need!

My cat Bailey LOVES stuffed mice! They are his favorite thing to play with 🙂
Bailey and I would be BFFs. Stuffed mice are so much fun! I love pouncing on them and carrying them around. I’m hoping Santa Kitty Klaus gives me another set for Christmas!
My friend’s cat loooooves the light on the laser, and it’s so much fun to play with her because she’s convinced she has it every time. Great list, MaxE!
Oh, Anna, that little red dot is tricksy, tricksy. I catch it all the time too. Paw swear! But then somehow it escapes my mighty paw! Glad you liked my list!
