It doesn’t seem possible that Christmas is almost upon us, which I say every year. But it’s true! 2016 is coming to a close and Max and I are thrilled to have experienced another great year at Eat Laugh Purr — thanks to you! We truly appreciate everyone who stops by and spends a portion of their day with us. Max particularly enjoys it when people comment on his posts and agree with him.
Well, I tell him that everyone sides with him, because a happy Max means Mama is happy too! To be fair, it also goes the other way too. LOL!
I’m headed back to Minnesota to spend Christmas with my family. It’s going to be very, very, very, very cold when I arrive. With windchill, it will be a 100 degree temperature change. MN at -40 and LA rocking 60. And yes, I will be enjoying a white Christmas. I am also told it will warm up to the 20-30s by mid-week. So … heat wave!
Not.
If it’s chilly wherever you are … may I suggest a Peppermint Hot Chocolate?
A very rich, decadent drink sure to warm you up! It’s a bit of a calorie bomb but it’s the holidays and diets all start in January, right?
As usual, Max and I are going to take the remainder of December off. He’ll be napping and plotting mischief. I’ll be napping and plotting yummy recipes to make next year. 😀
In the meantime, a few of our favorite posts from 2016 in case you missed them.

And if you still need some holiday treat inspiration …
You’re welcome.
Max and I would like to wish everyone a very Meowie Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope Santa treats you well and you spend the holiday surrounded by good food and loved ones. We will back on January 5, 2017.
Meowie Christmas!
