Conclusion: A Tail of One Kitty

Emeril and I have been together for almost nine years. It really doesn’t seem possible to me. We’ve had lots of good times: snuggling, playing and napping. And some bad times too: peeing in my favorite pair of boots, enemas and surgery. Most importantly, we became a family.

I took Emeril home that cold, blustery afternoon. Once there, he quickly scouted the lay of the land, jumping on my pristine kitchen counter with not one crumb of food on it. I pointed out to him several times where the litter box was. Ignoring me, he hid under my futon.
