On Tuesday we launched The Heavy Purse at Pages in Manhattan Beach, CA. It was such a blast! Kids and adults responded with great enthusiasm to the book. The kids liked the story and characters and parents liked the message. Win-win!

I watch the political scene with a certain amount of fascination, weariness and dread. It seems to be more about being “right” than helping others and finding solutions. Of course, I shouldn’t even being looking to them for the answer or cure—I should be looking at me.
